Is your kitchen and home set up killing your weightloss efforts?
See this collage? It is food that either myself or my nutrition Coaching clients have eaten this past week.
John Beradi from Precision Nutrition states that,
"If a food is in your house or possession, either you , someone you lovr or marginally tolerate will eventually eat it."
Now conversely this is also true,
"If a healthy food is in your house ir possession, either you, someone you love or someone you marginally tolerate will eventually eat it."
What you have to remember is, your environment matters.
So set your environment and yourself up for the win.
Time to revamp your fridge, pantry and cupboards.
You can use a traffic light system which I use as a PN1 Coach and Nutritional Therapist.
"Red light" foods
Are foods that are bad news for you. These are "No go" or "rarely" foods. These are your Kryptonite.
"Yellow Light " foods
These are your foods that are sometimes ok, sometimes not. Approach them with caution.
"Green light" foods
These are your power foods. They make you feel physically and mentally good. You can eat these normally and slowly until you are satisfied.
So what now?
Decrease or cut out "Red light" foods.
Do this instead...
TOP TIP: Do this for 2 weeks. See what difference it makes, then adjust again based on your goals and needs!
Pretty simple and easy to implement and very effective. Try it!
